The Sumner County Regional Airport Authority will conduct a public auction of the houses and structures on 360 Newton Lane and 1071 Cairo Road. The terms and conditions of the auction are listed below:
Terms and Conditions of Purchase of Houses owned by SCRAA.
The Sumner County Regional Airport Authority will conduct a public auction on 8 April, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., for the sale of houses and structures located at 360 Newton Lane, Gallatin, TN 37066, and 1071 Cairo Road, Gallatin, TN 37066. Bidding for both houses will be conducted at 1071 Cairo Road, although each house will be sold individually. The structures on 360 Newton Lane will be sold first, followed by the structures on 1071 Cairo Road.
The winning bidder(s) will be responsible for the movement of the house(s) and all existing structures, within 90 days of the sales transaction. The winning bidder will provide or contract all labor, materials, tools, expertise, and any heavy equipment needed to disassemble, as needed, and transport the existing house to a new location off of Sumner County Regional Airport property.
The winning bidder will be required to provide Proof of General Liability Insurance and $10,000.00 in refundable earnest money on the day of the sale. Once the house/structure has been completely removed, all disturbed areas will be leveled. Any remaining building materials shall be considered debris and must be removed from the site.
The aforementioned work is to be all-inclusive and include every aspect of removing the house from said property. The owner will obtain all necessary permits and pay all associated fees required with the movement of the house.
If the property is not returned to satisfactory condition, as determined by the Sumner County Regional Airport Authority, all associated costs with the site reclamation will be deducted from the $10,000.00 earnest money deposit.
